Athens Party Pub Crawl
Code of Conduct / Booking Terms & Conditions
By participating in any event (including pub crawls) organized and hosted by Athens Party Pub Crawl, you (the "Participant") agree to the following terms and conditions without restriction.
1. Your Contract with Athens Party Pub Crawl
To secure a booking, you must complete a booking form online for each reservation. Clients booking through distributors are deemed to have read and accepted these terms and conditions.
2. Safety and Well-Being
All participants are responsible for their own safety and well-being during the event. Athens Party Pub Crawl will exercise reasonable care to ensure that participants safely attend a variety of localities and venues within Athens. However, due to the inherent risks associated with attending multiple venues in a dynamic nightlife environment, you acknowledge and assume all risks and participate at your own sole risk.
3. Alcohol Consumption
Athens Party Pub Crawl events present opportunities for participants to consume alcohol at their own discretion. Participants are urged to drink responsibly. Athens Party Pub Crawl disclaims all liability for any injury, illness, property damage, or death resulting from excessive alcohol consumption.
4. Health, Medical Conditions, and Limitations
Participants must be aware of their own physical and mental limitations before attending an event. Individuals with existing medical conditions or who are pregnant are strongly advised against participation or must fully disclose the nature of their condition at the time of booking. Failure to disclose such information may result in exclusion and forfeiture of all monies paid.
5. Age Verification
Participation is strictly limited to individuals who are 18 years or older. Only valid government-issued identification (such as passports, driver's licenses, or official proof-of-age cards) will be accepted. Photocopies, student cards, or non-government issued identification are not acceptable.
6. Ticket Purchase
All tickets must be purchased in advance of the event. Participation is not permitted without a confirmed ticket purchase.
7. Ticket Changes and Cancellations
Tickets, once purchased, may not be changed or cancelled via any distributor. For direct sales with Athens Party Pub Crawl, refunds may be provided if cancellation occurs at least one week prior to the scheduled event or if an alternative ticket is offered at our discretion.
8. Event Cancellation
Athens Party Pub Crawl reserves the right to cancel any event at its sole discretion and for any reason. In the event of cancellation, we will use commercially reasonable efforts to notify distributors and participants promptly and either provide a full refund or replace tickets as appropriate.
9. Event Modifications
We reserve the right to modify or change the tour itinerary—including venues and routes—without prior notice. In the event of such modifications, Athens Party Pub Crawl will make reasonable efforts to substitute venues of comparable quality; however, we shall not be held liable for any differences or issues arising from such changes.
10. Participant Behavior and Liability
Athens Party Pub Crawl accepts no liability for a Participant's conduct. We reserve the right to deny entry or remove any Participant from an event if they are intoxicated, disorderly, aggressive, abusive, or display anti-social behavior. In such cases, ticket prices will not be refunded and any additional costs incurred by the Participant will be solely their responsibility.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Athens Party Pub Crawl (including its employees, directors, suppliers, agents, distributors, representatives, and affiliates) from any and all claims, damages, or liabilities arising out of or in connection with your participation in the event. Any loss or damage caused by a Participant is solely the responsibility of that Participant.
12. Venue Policies
Participants must comply with all policies, procedures, and safety announcements of third-party venues (including bars and clubs) visited during the event. Athens Party Pub Crawl shall not be held liable for any loss or injury incurred due to Venue policies, and any refusal of entry by a Venue is final without entitlement to a refund.
13. Compliance with Greek Law
All Participants are required to obey all applicable Greek laws and regulations during events. Failure to do so relieves Athens Party Pub Crawl of any further obligations under these conditions. Any damage or losses resulting from non-compliance are solely the Participant's responsibility. Additionally, if any Participant's behavior poses danger, annoyance, or distress to third parties or results in property damage, Athens Party Pub Crawl reserves the right to immediately terminate that Participant's involvement without refund and ban them from future events.
14. Illness or Disability
Any Participant suffering from illness or disability, or receiving medical treatment, must fully disclose the nature of their condition at the time of booking and arrange for any necessary treatment during the event. Failure to provide such disclosure constitutes a breach of these terms and may result in exclusion from the event without refund. This disclosure enables Athens Party Pub Crawl to take additional precautions for your safety and enjoyment.
15. Third-Party Venues
Our events may include admission to third-party venues such as cafes and drinking establishments (“Venue”). Participants must adhere to all Venue policies and any security procedures in place, and inform Venue staff or your assigned event host of any allergies or dietary requirements. Athens Party Pub Crawl shall not be held liable for any loss or injury incurred due to Venue actions.
16. Transportation
Participants are solely responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from the event.
17. Responsible Drinking & Illicit Substance Prohibition
17.1. Alcohol Consumption:
Participants are expected to exercise responsible judgment regarding alcohol consumption.
17.2. Illicit Substance Prohibition:
Athens Party Pub Crawl strictly prohibits any requests for assistance in procuring or obtaining illicit substances. Such requests violate local law and may result in severe legal penalties, including criminal charges. Participants must not involve our Event Staff or activity partners in any matters related to illicit substances.
18. Admission, Removal, and Refusal
We reserve the right to refuse admission or remove any Participant from an event if they are late, appear underage, or exhibit abusive, threatening, or anti-social behavior (including smoking in no-smoking areas, carrying offensive weapons, or making unauthorized recordings). In such cases, no refunds will be provided.
19. Zero Tolerance for Harassment, Discrimination, and Abusive Behavior
19.1. Definition:
Sexual, discriminatory, or abusive behavior includes—without limitation—any unwanted physical contact, sexual advances, sexually explicit or derogatory comments, body shaming, or any conduct of a sexual nature, as well as any discriminatory remarks or actions based on race, color, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, disability, or any other protected characteristic. Such behavior creates an intimidating, hostile, or offensive environment.
19.2. Immediate Consequences:
Any Participant found engaging in such behavior will be immediately expelled from the event without refund and may be permanently banned from future events.
19.3. Reporting Procedure:
Participants are strongly encouraged to report any instances of harassment, discriminatory, abusive, or sexually inappropriate behavior to event staff immediately. All complaints will be promptly and thoroughly investigated.
20. Photography and Media
During events, photographs and videos may be taken. Participants have the right to request that images of themselves not be used on the Athens Party Pub Crawl website or our social media channels; however, such requests will be accommodated on a case-by-case basis. All media will be reviewed, and appropriate actions will be taken if necessary.
21. Event Duration and Post-Event Activities
21.1. Official Duration:
Each Athens Party Pub Crawl event begins at the advertised start time and runs for approximately 2 to 2.5 hours—typically concluding around 00:30.
21.2. Post-Event Activities:
After the official event concludes, participants are free to continue their night independently. Athens Party Pub Crawl assumes no responsibility for any incidents or activities that occur after the event's official end.
22. Liability Release and Risk Assumption
By participating in an Athens Party Pub Crawl event, you expressly acknowledge, assume, and accept all risks associated with your participation—including those arising from walking between venues, alcohol consumption, and the inherent hazards of nightlife events. In consideration for being permitted to participate, you hereby waive, release, and discharge Athens Party Pub Crawl and its employees, directors, agents, and representatives (collectively "Released Parties") from any and all liability for any injuries, losses, or damages—including indirect, incidental, or consequential damages—that may occur during or in connection with your participation, except where such injuries, losses, or damages are solely the result of gross negligence or willful misconduct by Athens Party Pub Crawl or its representatives. This Liability Release and Risk Assumption is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by Greek law; if any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
23. Ticket Purchasing Channels
23.1. Authorized Channels:
Tickets may be purchased exclusively through the Athens Party Pub Crawl website or via authorized third-party platforms such as GetYourGuide, TripAdvisor, Viator, Tiqets, or any other approved distributor.
23.2. Non-Authorized Sources:
Purchases made from sources other than those listed above may be deemed invalid and could result in denial of entry.
24. Privacy, Data Protection, and Communications
24.1. Data Collection and Consent:
In accordance with applicable GDPR and our Privacy Policy (available on our website), by purchasing a ticket or participating in an event, you consent to the collection, processing, and use of your personal data solely for event-related purposes.
24.2. Communication Methods:
We will contact participants via WhatsApp, SMS, or Email only for matters related to event organization, scheduling, or other event-specific topics.
25. Force Majeure
Athens Party Pub Crawl shall not be liable for any failure, delay, or modification to events caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to extreme weather, natural disasters, pandemics, government mandates, strikes, or civil disturbances. In such circumstances, Athens Party Pub Crawl reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or significantly alter an event without liability.
26. Personal Property Disclaimer
Athens Party Pub Crawl is not responsible for loss, damage, or theft of any personal property brought by participants during the event. Participants are solely responsible for securing their belongings at all times.
27. Transportation and Walking Risks
Participants explicitly acknowledge and assume all risks associated with walking in public areas between venues. These risks include but are not limited to uneven sidewalks, traffic, public hazards, and other inherent dangers of urban environments. Athens Party Pub Crawl disclaims any liability for injuries sustained while moving between venues or during transportation.
28. Third-Party Service Providers
Athens Party Pub Crawl collaborates with third-party vendors (including clubs, cafes, and other service providers) and is not liable for any acts, omissions, or policies of these independent service providers. If a vendor fails to deliver their services or if issues arise at a Venue, Athens Party Pub Crawl is not responsible for any resulting injuries, losses, or damages.
29. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Athens Party Pub Crawl (or its affiliates) be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your participation, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our maximum liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by the Participant for the event ticket.
30. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law
Any disputes arising out of or in connection with the event shall be resolved initially through mediation or arbitration, and only then through court action if necessary. This Agreement is governed by the laws of Greece, and any litigation will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the appropriate Greek courts.
31. Severability and Entire Agreement
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. These terms constitute the entire agreement between the participant and Athens Party Pub Crawl concerning the event, superseding any prior understandings or agreements.
32. Additional Health and Safety Recommendations
Participants are strongly encouraged to have their own travel or medical insurance, especially given the physical nature of walking tours in nightlife settings. Athens Party Pub Crawl is not responsible for providing insurance coverage for participants and recommends that all participants take appropriate precautions regarding their personal health and safety.
By participating in an Athens Party Pub Crawl event, you confirm that you have read, understand, and agree to all of the above terms and conditions without reservation. Thank you for helping us create a safe, respectful, and enjoyable experience for everyone.
